WHAT IS 

NATUROPATHIC NUTRITION

Naturopathic nutrition is a holistic approach to health and wellness that recognizes the interconnection between diet, lifestyle, and overall well-being. This approach takes into account the unique biochemistry and nutritional needs of each individual, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. The goal of naturopathic nutrition is to support the body's natural healing processes and to provide the necessary nutrients for optimal health and vitality.

Naturopathic nutrition also recognizes the importance of lifestyle factors such as stress management, physical activity, and sleep, as well as the impact of environmental toxins on health. Food does so much more than simply supply our bodies with energy, and the food we eat is essential for cell growth, repair and maintenance and can help prevent health conditions. We also consider factors such as digestive function, food sensitivities and nutrient deficiencies and may use functional testing in conjunction, when creating a personalised nutritional plan.

In addition to dietary recommendations, naturopathic nutrition may also include the use of supplements, herbal medicine, and other natural therapies. The aim is to address the root cause of imbalances in the body and to support the body's natural ability to heal itself with benefits. Nutritional therapy provides a holistic approach to help address potential imbalances, support health conditions as well as optimising overall health and wellbeing.
